First of all I've been dieing to see the movie as I've been a fan of Batman since I can remember myself. He is the first superhero I ever saw in a cartoon and made me want to fight crime as a kid.
Second of all I  was fascinated by the eerie Gotham City and I always admired Batman because after all he is a superhero without any superpowers. I believe he is the best comic character ever created.

That being said I will move on to talk about the movie.
I loved it. What I liked the most is not the great special effects and unpredictable plot, but the 3-Dimensionality given to the characters. This movie didn't need 3D to sparkle interest. Batman's troubled personality and the depth of the characters was enough. Bane and Talia 's story was so touching it actually made me tear a bit.

The cast was filled out with great actors: Gary Oldman( a favorite of mine after I saw Sid and Nancy years ago), Michael Cane and Morgan Freeman who are living legends in terms of acting.

I never pictured Anne Hathaway as Catwoman mostly because I've never seen her in such roles...But Anne managed to pull it of. She has the perfect face for Catwoman specially because of the way she smiles(she looks just like Selina from the cartoons). I also think she should have been blond. But all in all I liked her performance.

The movie will please both fans and ordinary people because it's captivating.

I fully agree. The little hint of Robin at the end was an awesome move on Nolan's end.
It gives hope.
I was glad that it wasn't for 3d, it shows how amazing a movie can be with out things popping out at you
and having to pay the extra money for the glasses is always a plus.
Nolan is a directorial genius and he made the trilogy spectacular; which in a lot of cases is rare.
Usually trilogies fizzle out by the sequel, but Nolan knew how to pull it off.
Can't wait for Man of Steel now.
